Registration for the Five Spots = Registration for the Maple Hill Open Wait List. If you get in the tournament, the money paid to get on the wait list will be applied to your tournament entry. Five Spots registrations are non-refundable.
The Five Spots tournament is held the day before the event starts. See the schedule for check-in and start times.
For the first time ever, there will be a Players Pack (of sorts) for the players competing in the Five Spots tournament. Special thanks to Bearded Brothers for supplying t-shirts to all competitors in the Five Spots tournament. THANK YOU BEARDED BROTHERS!
Note: This is a sample shirt. The actual shirts may be just like this, or they may be even cooler.
How spots are filled:
Starting in 2014, the Wait List alternate between first in line and top rated in line.
The first spot will be filled by the first person on the list.
The second spot will go to the highest rated player on the list.
Then repeat, until the Five Spots tournament starts, at which point players will be sorted based on their order of finish in the Five Spots tournament.
The tournament is overbooked by 30+ participants. On average, about 40 to 60 reserved spots are not claimed, so 10 to 30 people get into the event from the wait list.
Players that register for the Five Spots Tourney Wait List will either get in off the wait list or will be automatically registered for the Five Spots Tourney which is held the day before the Vibram Open begins. Two notes here:
The Five Spots Wait List registration is non-refundable.
If a player gets in from the Five Spots Wait List, they will be contacted via the email, phone, or text that they registered with and will have one week to complete their registration.
Five Spots and Dubz Skins
If you would like to compete in the Dubz Skins Play-in, you will need to ask for an early tee time in the Five Spots event.
