Open at Maple Hill Course

Hole 17 has quickly become one of the best setup holes in disc golf.

  • In 2004, Steve Brinster tied Ron Russell with a clutch birdie putt.
  • In 2005, Walter Haney tied Kevin McCoy, also with a clutch birdie putt.
  • In 2006, Barry Schultz missed an lead-tying 15 foot putt to seal the deal for Chris Sprague's unlikely Cinderella story.
  • In 2007, Cale Leiviska pulled within one stroke of Geoff Bennett with a huge drive and upshot leading to a birdie. He would go on to win the tourney.

This hole sets up perfectly for the 18th. Don't bother with your weak sauce.
